New Policies

April 24th, 2012 -- No pets will be allowed in the gym. We are getting our carpet professionally cleaned. WE absolutely love pets but gym cleanliness is our top priority. Thank you for your understanding and we sincerely apologize for any inconvenience.

January, 1st, 2012 -- No children under 10 years old allowed in gym after 6PM on Monday through Friday. 

About Us

Welcome to Arcadia Rock Climbing Gym, The ARC, one of the largest indoor bouldering gyms in the United States. The ARC is located east of Pasadena just south of the 210 freeway off the Santa Anita exit.

The ARC offers bouldering problems from beginners to some of the most challenging climbs available. We pride ourselves in constantly changing, altering and updating our routes so each climbing experience offers a new variety.

The ARC offers numerous programs, from team builders to private parties and our overnight "Rock Inn!". The ARC also sponsors a competitive climbing team.

Rock Climbing Summer Camp

Activities included:
  • Staffed Belay station where you're children will be climbing with a rope
  • Bouldering games such as Capture The Flag
  • Slack Lining, which is walking a bouncing rope that is 2 feet off the ground
  • Team building games
  • Friday is Water Day! So bring swim clothes and a towel because we will have water balloons and water shooters
  • Snacks will be provided daily
  • And many more fun activities included!

Registration Requirements:

All children under the age of 18 will need our Liability Waiver completed by their parent or legal guardian.

First Time at the ARC? 
Never Climbed before?

For your first time to the ARC we recommend making an appointment for our Staff Belay Lesson which involves a staff member assisting you in our rope section for one hour and includes a Day Pass as well as rentals for $25. This is not mandatory just a suggestion.
